Welcome to Manton Heights Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Unit with RCH Care
Manton Heights ABI Unit is a bespoke and modern neurorehabilitation service in Bedford, managed by Charles Leonard and Lead Therapist, Rose Bradshaw.
We use and comply to the BSRM ABI rehabilitation standards which means we truly focus on the outcomes our service users wish to achieve. This leads to high motivation in the goal led therapy programmes with the outcomes regularly reported. Our team have a range of rehabilitation skills including physical, cognitive and neuro-behavioural specialism.
We believe that all our service users can make progress toward their goals and we work with their family and referring agent to facilitate a successful transfer to our service and from our service, with additional outreach to aid a smooth continuation of support.
Our facilities are purpose built, modern, light and spacious and ideally situated in the community. We are close to a large supermarket, bus routes into the town centre and the local community facilities including a Gym and college to help us work on the skills people need to relearn for independence.
We welcome enquiries and referrals for people who have a brain injury or stroke, and those who may benefit from the specialist rehabilitation team input either for an assessment or treatment.
